These fantastically flavoursome gingery Gingerbread men are a favourite in our house! My daughter thoroughly enjoys making and eating them! Very easy to make and extremely moreish! So delicious, I bet you can't eat just one.
Ingredients:
- Plain flour
- 300g
- Ground ginger
- 1 tbsp
- Ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp
- Brown Sugar
- 150g
- Bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tsp
- Coconut oil (or Vegan margarine) melted
- 150ml
- Golden syrup
- 60ml
Method:
- Preheat oven 180c/350f/Gas 4
- Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and knead until it forms a ball of dough
- Lightly flour the surface and roll out the dough and cut out desired shapes (we use a skewer to draw the faces etc before baking)
- Place the gingerbread biscuits on a lined baking tray
- Bake for about 15 minutes until they start to brown
- Cool and decorate if you desire!
